High Strung Guitars

INSPIRATION
I am not a great guitar player. I am a great lover of the instrument and of the great players, both internationally known and obscure. I have played for 45 years having been initially captivated by the music of the sixties. Over the years, I have owned, sold, and given away many guitars that today would bring a small fortune or deserve a place in a museum. High Strung Guitars is my attempt to stay connected to the instrument that has brought me so much pleasure and been a constant companion through the crests and troughs of life.

I remain as excited by a new guitar today as I was in 1962 when my parents bought me my first acoustic; a Sears Silvertone. I know there are many like me out there who grew up on the incredible energy of the music and era as well as the subsequent generations inspired by guitar based music. There have been so many great guitars made. Not being a wealthy man, I cannot afford to keep every guitar I purchase. High Strung Guitars allows me to enjoy many fine new and vintage instruments and then recycle them to other devotees. I hope you will enjoy your visit to hsguitars.com and will return often.
